"Alright, everybody. I'm going to return your periodical exam results today," said Mr. Ayasaki, our homeroom teacher. "And I'm proud to say that someone in our class got the highest score out of all the 3rd year students. And that is no other than Ms. Amy Punzalan with a perfect score of 100," he said, handing me my results with a smile. I smiled back while taking the piece of paper. "While others," he continued, "got a barely passing grade of 75. Well, at least you passed, Mr. Andrew Oken. You may be a good singer but that alone won't get you to 4th year high school." Everyone laughed.
